An application for studying some properties of triangles. By default you will be listing to a video simulation about triangle properties ('SimV'). You can at any time select 'Sim' to do the interactive simulation by yourself. Some information how to do the interactive simulation (you will have the same information in the video simulation): Start the triangle program by marking the checkbox '2D' in the control window. Select 'Triangle' in the control window. Drag the small triangle you see in the control window into the simulation window by dragging the red corner A of the triangle. After placing the triangle in the simulation window, you can move the triangle by dragging the red corner A of the triangle and/or change the shape of the triangle by dragging the blue corners B and/or C of the triangle. Mark the checkbox 'Prop' to start the study of the properties of triangles. You can now mark one or several of the checkboxes 'Median', 'Ortho', 'MidNorm', 'InCenter', 'Euler', 'OutCircle' and 'InCircle. For each of these checkboxes you should change the shape of the triangles to ensure yourself that the properties you are studying are valid for general triangles. |
