Fourier - Sampling

This application simulates digitalization of an analog function and the reproduction of the analog function from sampled values.

Click on the dropdownbox 'Function' and select the function 'SinCosCos'.
You will now see the graph of the function:

f(t) = 2sin(wt) + 2cos(2wt) - cos(5wt)

By default the value of w is equal to 1.
Mark the checkboxes 'Sample' and 'Sample Min' to see the lowest density of sampled points to reprocuce the original analog signal.
If you mark the checkbox 'Formula' you will see the Sinc function, the translation of the Sinc function and the function of the sampled points.
Mark the checkbox 'Sinc' and use the scrollbar 'n = ' to translate the Sinc function.
Mark the checkbox 'Current' and use the scrollbar 'n = ' to see one element at the time in the Fourier Serie.
Mark the checkbox 'All' and use the scrollbar 'N = ' to see all the elements in the Fourier Serrie.
Mark the checkbox 'Sum' and use the scrollbar 'N = ' to see the sum of all elements in the Fourier Serie.
Notice now how this sum converges to the original analog signal.
Notice what happens when you change the value of W (convergens when W is greater than default, divergence when W is smaller than default).

Control objects:
Current     : Element number n in the Fourier Serie
All         : All the N elements in the Fourier Serie
Sum         : Sum of all the N elements in the Fourier Serie
Function    : The actual function
Sample Show : Show the sample points
SampleMin   : The minumum number of sample points
Sinc        : The Sinc function
Formula     : Formula (Function, Fourier Serie, Sinc function)
n =         : Element number in the Fourier Serie
N =         : Upper limit of the number of elements in the Fourier Serie
Reset       : Reset the application                        
w           : Factor in the frequency of the function elements
W           : Current sample frequency
