SimReal SimReal - Physics - Waves - Transversal / Longitudinal Waves Simulation of transversal and longitudinal waves. - Reset: Reset - Bwd : Step 1/100 sec backward - Fwd : Step 1/100 sec forward - Stop : Stop - Run : Run (toggle Run/Stop) You can mark: - A single particle in the transvarsal wave and a column of particles in the longitudinal wave - Particles that differ by one wavelength - Particles that differ by one half wavelength The following extensions will follow: - Focus on only transversal wave or longitudial wave - Observe and change the wave speed - Observe and change the angular velocity (or the frequency) - Observe and change the wave number (or the wavelength) - Observe the connection between speed, angular velocity, frequency, wavenumber and wavelength In addition there will be simulations of reflection properties, interference, standing waves and beats.
