Congruent Triangles In this application you can test yourself about congruent triangles. As default you see two tringles in the simulation window, one blue and one red. You are going to click one of the two pushbuttons: - Yes congruent - No congruent Immediately when you have clicked one of these two buttons, you will have an answer if you are right or not. Then you click on the pushbutton 'New' to generate two new triangles. The simulation can give you some help to decide if the triangles are congruent or not: In each corner of the triangle you will see a small sphere, one gray and two red. The gray corner will always be visible in the simulation window, and you can move the triangle by dragging the gray corner. In the control window you see two groups of two pushbuttons and one scrollbar for each triangle, the upper one is for the blue triangle, the lower one is for the red triangle: - Flip 01 H : Flip the blue triangle horisontally about the gray corner - Flip 01 V : Flip the blue triangle vertically about the gray corner - Scrollbar : Rotate the blue triangle about the gray corner - Flip 02 H : Flip the red triangle horisontally about the gray corner - Flip 02 V : Flip the red triangle vertically about the gray corner - Scrollbar : Rotate the red triangle about the gray corner |
